I am so fortuneate this week to again be teaching and coaching the wonderful kids at CU's High School Summer Music Academy (SMA).  This year the music camp has a total of 9 cellists, which is the single largest instrument section in the orchestra.  This is a far cry from the 3 cellists that attended the first year!  As the masterclass teacher I am estatic to have so many cellists to work with, and what else can one do with 9 cellists but bust out some great cello ensemble music!  I can't believe how fast these kids soak up information - it gives me great hope for the futre of classical music!   This is going to be a great week of cello power, and chamber music!  I wish it was longer than just one week!
